Real estate foreclosure is a unique process. We don’t conduct foreclosures but we do act for purchasers of properties which are in foreclosure. As a buyer, when you make an offer on a property in foreclosure, the process will be different from a conventional purchase and you will need to do your homework. In all likelihood, you will buy the property “as is” without any Real Property Report or any representations on the part of the seller. Be aware that lenders almost invariably require a Real Property Report or Title Insurance. Be patient. A successful offer must be approved by the court, which may take a couple of weeks.
